Below is an image of a crazy Etruscan (2000 years before Christ) dancing his socks off in a frenzied boogie with all his flouncy red clothes flying. As you can see, this guy could rock a petticoat and not even break a sweat! If this doesn't cheer you up on Blue Monday, I don't know what will.

Ahhhhhhhhhh, thank you dear (if slightly crazy) lady, I needed that! See my big, wide cheesy grin now? I'm skipping out of here with a waggy tail..
ReplyDeleteYes, thank you, dear Margaret. He DOES rock a petticoat and he's in inspiring shape for a man at that age (over 2000 years BC).
ReplyDeleteBe well. Thanks for dropping by and for your spot-on comment.

Shrinky--Yay Shrinky, I believe there is a vibrant dancing Etruscan in your soul (or maybe several), so no wonder you liked the post! :^) And I do believe that more or less everybody, men too, would be happier if sometimes they whooped it up in twirly red petticoats.
ReplyDeleteRobyn--Obviously too this is a guy who doesn't worry about his armpits. We need more
like that, these days! In regard to the vignette in your story--about the jerk on the ladder--it felt so real I wished he'd fallen on his head. I bet you will deal with him justly (ahem, as in, what he deserves) in the future, and I look forward to it!
Not just any guy can rock a petticoat like that!
ReplyDeletePat Tillett--I like how, in the old days, EVERYBODY got to wear twirly clothes!
